Pabna University of Science and Technology is inviting applications from the candidates for the posts of Associate Professor for the department of Economics.

Subject: Economics

Qualification and competency: 

Honors and Masters with CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.00 or first class in traditional way in the relevant subject from any public university. 

Minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 5.00 in each SSC and HSC examination

Or, must have the first division in the traditional way.

CGPA less than 2.50 / 3rd class is not acceptable in any examination.

Candidates with PhD degree in the relevant subject must have at least 7 years of active teaching experience at public university level, at least 3 postgraduate level thesis research supervisory experiences and at least 4 years active teaching experience as an assistant professor in a recognized journal. At least 5 publications related to the subject in which there should be at least 3 publications in any recognized journal as Assistant Professor.

Or, Candidates with MPhil degree in the relevant subject must have at least 8 years of active teaching experience at the public university level, at least 5 publications on the subject in a recognized journal with at least 2 years of active teaching experience, 2 postgraduate thesis research supervision (Supervision) experience and at least 4 years of active teaching experience as an assistant professor. At least 3 publications in any recognized journal as Assistant Professor.

Or, Those Assistant Professors who do not have a higher degree should have at least 5 years of active teaching experience as an Assistant Professor out of 12 years of active teaching experience and should have 4 publications related to the subject in which at least 2 publications in any recognized journal as Assistant Professor.
