Qualification and competency:

•    Must have 4 years Bachelors (Honors) and Masters from Statistics Department
•    CGPA minimum 3.50 out of CGPA 4.00 or first class in traditional system in both Bachelors (Honors) and Masters
•    Minimum GPA 3.50 out of 5.00 in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination or 1st division in traditional system
•    Candidates with Masters degree should have at least 22 years of active teaching experience including a minimum of 10 years as an associate professor at the university level
•    Candidates with MPhil/equivalent degree should have minimum 17 years of active teaching experience including minimum 7 years as associate professor at university level.
•    Candidates with PhD degree should have minimum 12 years active teaching experience including minimum 5 years as Associate Professor
•    In all cases candidates should have a total of twelve (twelve) publications in a recognized journal (peer reviewed).
