THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS BANGLADESH OF BANGLADESH (ICAB)

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) is looking for self-motivated, competent & experienced officials, who are willing to build career with one of the most prestigious professional Institutes of Bangladesh in the following positions: 

Job Title: Deputy Director (Admin & HR): 01 

Functions: Ensure maintenance of lift, generator & premises of CA Bhaban as per guidelines, ensure smooth functioning of dispatch section of ICAB, negotiate/draft deeds and other crucial letters for ICAB, make correspondence with external organization assigned by the ICAB authority, organize various official and cultural programs at ICAB, oversee the regular activities of HR section, make an overall plan how to conduct the HR department at the beginning of a year as per the existing ICAB policy, ensure the proper functioning of HR related regular activities, follow up all of the HR issues and solve as per the existing ICAB policy, take initiative for the upgradation of admin and HR of ICAB and any other activity assigned by the authority.

Required Qualification:

MBA or Post Graduate degree in HRM, Operations Management or MIS from any reputed public/private university having minimum 10 years' experience in Admin & HR department. Good interpersonal skills, team leading capabilities and competency of written communication (both English and Bengali) are essential. Experience in editorial work will get additional weightage. 

Job Title: Senior Assistant Director (Head of Finance & Accounts): 01 

Functions: Oversee day to day activities of accounts and finance department, ensure monthly, half yearly and annual closing of accounts, prepare monthly, half yearly and annual financial reporting, prepare monthly and annual cash flows and budgets, ensure adherence with the organization's policies & procedures and laws & regulations, interact with financial institutions, members, students, suppliers, regional offices and other stakeholders, monitor the assets management, investment management, advance management etc. of the organization, directly work with the accounts & finance team, IT team and vendor for implementing ICAB-ERP, prepare different kinds of MIS report as intended by the management and any other activity assigned by the management. 

Required Qualification:

Part qualified/CA-CC from ICAB, MBA or Post Graduate degree in Finance & Accounts from any reputed public/private university having minimum 5 years' experience in Finance & Accounts as the Head of the department, good interpersonal & IT skills, team leading capabilities and competency of written communication (English and Bengali) are essential. 

Job Title: Senior Assistant Director (Financial Report Monitoring & Practice Review): 02 

Functions: Conduct scheduled & special visit to CA firms and follow up visit to CA firms, prepare review report on the basis of visit, submit the review report to the line manager, present the review report to QAB & other committees (if required), conduct desktop review on audited Financial Statements and prepare report thereon, monitor the information provided by CA firms in their respective Annual Returns submitted to ICAB & any other activity assigned by the management.

Required Qualification:

Part qualified (CA-CC) from ICAB, BBA & MBA or post graduate degree in Finance/ Accounts from any reputed public/private university, having minimum 3 years' experience in audit assurance department or any reputed CA firm. Candidate having knowledge and experience on compliance, income tax, VAT, Customs Act, etc. will be given preference. Good interpersonal & IT skills, team-leading capabilities and competency of written communication (English and Bengali) are essential. 

 Job Title: Receptionist cum PABX Operator (Administration): 01 

Functions: Greet and welcome the ICAB members and guests, answer to the queries received from members, students, national and international organizations and others, attain all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages and communicate to the concerned official accordingly, communicate all members regarding meeting of ICAB's standing & other committees including sub-committees, call the concerned members or others for any special program, provide the relevant information to the designated desk, assist the members with conference, seminar and training programs & perform any other duty assigned by the authority. 

Required Qualification:

BBA or graduate degree in any discipline from any reputed public/private university having 2 years' experience in front desk or administration, good interpersonal & IT skills, team leading capabilities and competency of written communication (English and Bengali) are essential. The candidate must be fluent in English. 

Job Title:. Interns: 04 

ICAB is also inviting applications for the position of Interns who will have the opportunity to take hands-on experience on various activities like finance, accounts, human resources, procurement, student registration, etc. of the Institute.

Required Qualification:

BBA or graduate in Finance/Accounts/ Economics/Human Resources/English from any reputed public/private university. The interns must have strong communication skills (both in English and Bangla) along with computer literacy. Job Responsibilities: Individual to independently work in the area of financial report monitoring and audit practice review in compliance with IFRS, ISA, quality control standards and other relevant standards, rules and regulations. 

Required Qualification:

ACA having working experience in the field of audit and assurance either in banking or manufacturing/similar fields. Having expertise in the application of audit software will be an added qualification. Good interpersonal skill, IT skill and competency of written communication in both English and Bengali are essential. 

Job Title Sr. Assistant Director (IT): 01 

Job Responsibilities: Analyze the business requirements and objectives of the institute and make sure those are being fulfilled by the IT systems. Help the management with IT related suggestions based on the latest technology choices for best outcome. Develop new applications and add features to existing ones as required. Follow coding best practices for new applications and modifying the existing ones. Interact with team members throughout the application life-cycle. Take necessary initiatives to identify and fix bugs. Design and build databases when required following best industry standards. Ensure that the applications are tested properly with various types of testing. 

Ensure that test automation implemented for quick and flawless testing for any new changes made to the system. Make sure that applications are deployed following proper Industry standards and improve wherever necessary. Manage projects with Agile/Scrum/Kanban. Maintain good communication with all the stakeholders of ICAB. Work with vendors to ensure proper delivery of the IT services as agreed upon. Notify management whenever any risk or potential challenges.

Required Qualification (Technical Skills):

Programming (in one or more of C#, Java, PHP). Object Oriented Programming (00P). Software Design Principles. Software Development Life Cycle. Full-stack Web Development. Agile Project Management, SCUM, Kanban. Database Concepts, RDBMS. Oracle Database (preferred). ASP.NET, Java Spring Boot, PHP   HTML, CSS, Java script. Apache Tomcat, Unit Testing, TDD 

Required Qualification (Academic):

BSc in CSE (or equivalent) from any reputed university. Training related to the above mentioned skills will be preferred. Vendor Certifications on relevant technology stacks are preferred 

Experience:

Minimum 5 years' experience in Software Development and End-to-end Project implementations. Minimum 2 Years’ experience of leading software teams. Minimum 2 Years of experience of software project management 

Job title: Officer (Student Counselling and Placement): 

Job Responsibilities: To work for student counselling section of the Institute. To provide information, advise and inspire potential students for CA profession. To coordinate and work for materializing mutual arrangements between ICAB and reputed Private/Public universities with regard to subject waiver/exemption etc. Any other related works. 

Required Qualification:

BBA from reputed Private/Public University. Good interpersonal skill, IT skill and competency of written communication in both English and Bengali are essential.
