JOB VACANCY in Bangladesh Cricket Board
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the national sports body responsible for governing the game of Cricket in Bangladesh. The BCB vide their advertisement Ref. No. BCB/Admin/2024/218 Dated March 22, 2024 invites applications from qualified individuals for the following position for immediate appointment:
Position: Computer / Performance Analyst-BCB-(02 Nos)
Key Responsibilities:
i. Knowledge and experience in operating analytical cricket based software.
ii. Provide individual player analysis to facilitate development of Individual Player Plans.
iii. Produce relevant match previews and reviews.
iv. Setting up performance analytics systems and programs for team/ squad / group as assigned by the Board from time to time.
v. Maintain and improve systems that facilitate efficient access to data and video for coaches and players.
vi. Develop effective relationship with the players and guide them in reaching optimum performance.
vii. Provide information to relevant groups for the purposes of list management and succession planning.
viii. Provide opposition analysis that informs and helps shape team strategy and match preparation
Analyst Job Requirements:
i. Masters in any discipline, preferably in computer science.
ii. Well conversant in Microsoft Office and good skill in preparing presentation and knowledge on video editing software.
iii. Preference will be given to a person with knowledge of SQL Server, Basic networking knowledge. iv. Basic computer trouble shooting knowledge.
v. Candidate should have ability and capable of analysing data.
vi. Candidate should have cricketing background with knowledge of cricketing terms.
vii. Person with innovating ideal & hard-working mentality (need to work beyond office hours) will be given preference.
viii. Good communication skill in English-both verbal and written.
Nature of Employment: Contractual.
Contract Period: 02 (Two) years. Renewable on mutual agreement.
