Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management is a research and training institute for civil servants providing graduate degrees. It is owned by Bangladesh government. It was established in 2006. It is governed by a Board of Trustees. Now, the institute has been moved from BIAM Foundation to a permanent campus at Agargaon, Dhaka.

Admission qualification:
BCS cadre and government officials, officials of state-owned enterprises, private bank insurance and other agencies, NGOs and corporate organizations with:
• Bachelor's degree with two years of executive level service experience.
• Minimum point 6, where first class / CGPA 3.00 = 3 points, Second Class / Class / CGPA 2.75 to 2.99 = 2 points and Third Class / Class / CGPA 2 to 2.64 = 1 point.
In addition, candidates with special achievement results in education (Four first class or equivalent CGPA) can apply without any job experience.
