Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) is a public university run by Bangladesh Armed Forces. It is situated in Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka. It was established in 5 June 2008.It’s aims to facilitate professional degrees and to run undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate degrees through its faculties, affiliated institutes, academics, organizations. It also provides with Diploma degree on different languages. 

The university is inviting applications from the candidates for the admission on the course of Masters in Peace, Conflict and Human Rights Studies in the session of 2023-2024.

Course name: Masters in Peace, Conflict and Human Rights Studies

Admission qualification:

A bachelor’s degree (Honors) from any discipline with at least 2nd Class/CGPA 2.5 (on a scale of 4.0).

Candidates without honors (in case of having pass course degree) must have minimum 07 years of service in their related field of experiences

Candidates of pass courses not having required field service experiences must have a master’s degree from any discipline.

Candidates from armed forces, law enforcement agencies, NGOs, Social sciences, Political sciences, International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies background are highly encouraged.

Course duration: 12 months

Course Credit: 48

Deadline of application submission: October 01, 2023 to November 25, 2023

Class timing: Friday and Saturday 

Course fee: Total BDT 1, 25000/- (61,000 at the 1st trimester, 36,000/- at the 2nd trimester, and 28,000/- at the 3rd trimester)

Orientation class: Januray 05, 2023

Applicant fee: Tk.1,000/-+ Charge
