Armed Forces Medical College and 5 non govt. Armed Medical College is inviting applications from the candidates for the admission on MBBS course.

Admission qualification: 

Educational Qualifications:

1. AFMC's AMC Cadet Category: Students who have passed SSC / equivalent examination in 2018/2019 and HSC / equivalent examination in 2020/2021 will have to obtain total GPA of 10.00.

2. AFMC's AFMC Cadet and Cadet Category of five Army Medical Colleges: Students who have passed SSC / equivalent examination in 2018/2019 and HSC / equivalent examination in 2020/2021 should have a minimum total GPA of 9.00.A minimum GPA of 8.00 will be acceptable for tribal candidates only. However, under no circumstances will a GPA below 3.50 be accepted in any of the SSC / equivalent or HSC / equivalent examinations of a tribal candidate.

3. For all HSC / equivalent exams in Biology, the minimum GPA should be 3.50.

4. Students who have passed SSC / equivalent examination before 2018 will not be considered eligible for apply 

5. Physical Fitness:

A. Candidates for the AFMC AMC Cadet Category must have the following physical qualifications:

I. Height (minimum): Male - 1.63 m (5 ft 4 in) Female - 1.57 m (5 ft 2 in).

II. Weight (minimum): Male - 45.45 kg (100 lbs) Female - 40.90 kg (90 lbs) + excess weight of the scale prescribed for the Armed Forces according to height and age will be considered ineligible. 

III. Chest size (minimum): Male - Normal - 0.7 m (30 in) Female - Normal - 0.61 m (28 in) extended - 0.61 m (32 in), expanded - 0.7 cm (30 in)

IV. Sight power: If the short-sightedness and far-sightedness of each eye is more than 2.5 diopters and the far-sightedness is more than 1.0 diopters, it will not be acceptable. Color Blindness will not be accepted.

V. Hearing: Must be within acceptable limits

 

B. Cadets from AFMC's AFMC Cadet category and five Army Medical College cadets must qualify for a medical examination by the Medical Board.
