In Knitwear export Bangladesh is holding the second positions in the world. BKMEA hope that in near future Bangladesh will be in the number one position in knitwear export. Unfortunately this huge sector lacks skilled manpower and capable mid level management. 

To ensure sound production management, cost effectiveness and export of the goods on time professionals of Production Planning and Supply Chain Management are in great demand. 

In our industry, there is lot of experienced Production Planning and Supply Chain Management professionals but many of them are not equipped with the knowledge of Production Planning and Supply Chain Management.  

Focusing on the demand supply gap of expertise, Bangladesh Government, Skill for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) and Institute of Apparel Research and Technology of BKMEA are working together to build capacity of the existing manpower of the knitwear industry and potential manpower who are willing to work in knit wear industry. 

They offer different free training on knitwear based modules. Production Planning and Supply Chain Management is one of them.
