In Knitwear export Bangladesh is holding the second positions in the world. BKMEA hope that in near future Bangladesh will be in the number one position in knitwear export. Unfortunately this huge sector lacks skilled manpower and capable mid level management.
Fire risk is a great havoc in any industrial unit. We don’t have enough fire safety professionals to meet the requirements of our country. This menace may be managed, if we have enough Fire Safety Management professionals.
Focusing on the demand supply gap of expertise, Bangladesh Government, Skill for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) and Institute of Apparel Research and Technology of BKMEA are working together to build capacity of the existing manpower of the knitwear industry and potential manpower who are willing to work in knit wear industry.
They offer different free training on knitwear based modules. Industrial Fire Safety Management is one of them.
