In Knitwear export Bangladesh is holding the second positions in the world. BKMEA hope that in near future Bangladesh will be in the number one position in knitwear export. Unfortunately this huge sector lacks skilled manpower and capable mid level management. 

Merchandiser is the focal person from the side of the owner to continue the communication with the buyers. Merchandiser can make a great difference in negotiation with the buyers, if (s)he knows the art . Moreover good command over in English will ease her/his job. 

In our industry, there is lot of experienced Merchandiser but many of them are not equipped with the knowledge of merchandising. 

Focusing on the demand supply gap of expertise, Bangladesh Government, Skill for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) and Institute of Apparel Research and Technology of BKMEA are working together to build capacity of the existing manpower of the knitwear industry and potential manpower who are willing to work in knit wear industry. 

Course Title: Apparel Merchandising

Duration: 04 months

Venue: Dhaka and Narayanganj

Course Fee: Free

Required Documents: Attested photocopy of all academic certificates, photocopy of National ID, 1 copy recent passport size photograph. 

Conditions:  

Those who received training from SEIP or SEIP directed training institute need not to apply

Only short listed candidates will get the scope for written examination.
